Sept. 2-9 - Sign up for Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Combos & Chamber Groups during class rehearsals.

Wed. Sept. 10  Back to School Night Student-run small ensembles & soloists perform throughout the school, 6-8:30pm (Community Service Hours Available) Sign ups posted  in the music hallway.

 

Sept. 15 - 19th- Pit Orchestra sign ups/audition sign ups for LSB Players fall musical posted in the music hallway. Auditions as needed.  Rehearsals begin Wed. Sept. 24 in the band room.

Thurs. & Fri. Sept. 18 & 19  Jazz Combo Auditions, after school. Sign ups posted in the music hallway.

Mon. Oct. 13  Chamber Singers Potluck, 7:00 PM (location TBD)

Oct. 16 - Mattress Fundraiser Parent/Guardian Meeting in the L-S Auditorium, 7-7:45pm. Learn about this unique fundraiser and help raise funds just by attending!

Thurs. Oct. 23  Fall Concert, String Orchestra, Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Concert Choir 6:15 call for chorus, everyone else see below. 7:30pm start.  Yearbook Photos prior to the concert.

Sat. Nov. 8. Mattress Fundraiser Sale, 10am-4pm, L-S  Cafe. All music students work a shift, & Community Service available to all.

Wed.- Sat November 19, 20, 21, 22   - LSB Fall Musical The Music Man - 7:30PM start except Saturday, 1pm start

Fri. Dec. 5 Cabaret in Cafe 6:30 Call, 7:30pm start, A Capella, Jazz Ensemble & Combos, vocal soloists.  Tix $5

Mon. Dec 8  Pops Concert Dress Rehearsal 6-8:30PM. Fri-Sat. March 20-21  All-State Music Festival, rehearsal in Worcester (Mechanics Hall, the Hilton Garden Inn, or the DCU Convention Center), concert @ Hanover Theatre and Conservatory for the Performing Arts in Worcester, MA. on Sat.

Tues-Wed March 24-25 Conservatory Block Ensembles will NOT meet. (MCAS days)  Rehearsal on Thursday March 26th instead.

Thurs. April 9 Jazz Night Concert With Special Guests: Curtis Jazz Band & Lincoln Jazz Band, 7:00PM start, 5:45pm call (Jazz Ensembles and Jazz Combos)

Mon. May 11  Spring Instrumental Dress Rehearsal: Orchestra, Symphonic and Concert Bands, 6:30-8:30PM 

Thu. May 14 Spring Instrumental Concert: Orchestra, Concert & Symphonic Bands, 7:30PM, 6:30PM call

Sat. May 16   Music in the Parks Festival and day at 6 Flags New England. 9AM-9PM.

Sun. May 17 Community Sing Orchestra Rehearsal, 6PM-8PM in A211 the Chorus Room

Curtis Middle School Music Concert Dates 25-26 - L-S Auditorium. L-S students can earn community service by helping at the concerts.
