Career Center

The Career Center is available to all students as a resource for career education. The office is located in A-302. The Career Services Coordinator works closely with students and staff to develop new work and internship opportunities that match student interest and educational needs. You can come to the Career Center for help with your resume, with a job search process or to learn more about the internship program.

The Work Study Program is an opportunity for students who work outside of school an average of 15 hours per week to earn school credit. Students must be 16 years old and in 11th or 12th grade. Work study applications are due at the beginning of each semester.

Internships are a chance to experience learning outside the school building in a career field of interest. Internships are available in education, environmental studies, law enforcement, marketing and technology, hair design, and many more. Final semester seniors in good academic standing are eligible for full time internships in the place of traditional school classes. Other students can participate on a part time basis.

The Career Center hosts two Job Fairs--one in September and one in late winter/early spring. Employers from Boston and Metrowest attend in order to recruit teens to work for their organizations. There is also an Internship Reception in May that is open for Internship hosts, student interns, and their guardians. For the 20-21 school year, these events will be virtual.
