L-S Music Tours: Your Gateway to the Stage

Welcome to the home of L-S Music Department travel! We are committed to offering our student musicians a major tour experience every three to four years, with destinations chosen based on unique musical opportunities and student input.

On non tour years we attend a Music in the Parks Festival and spend the day at Six Flags New England.

See the options below for highlights from the tours and Six Flags.

Accessibility & Support
We are committed to ensuring tour experiences are accessible to every interested student. Multiple fundraising opportunities will be available to help defray costs, and the department plans to offer both full and half-scholarships for families where the cost would present a financial burden.

  • Music Tour April 2013: Washington D.C.

Thank you all for making the 2013 music tour to Baltimore and Washington D.C. a great experience!

The 2013 Tour Choir will go down in the annals of L-S History as the “Bus Breakers”. Despite the transportation problems, we were constantly impressed with the helpful nature, responsible behavior and good spirits of our L-S music students.

This is the first time in recent memory that the music department has done any combined travel. We see Tour as an important part of the growth of L-S Music, and look forward to doing this again in the future.
