TRANSPORTATION BID- BIDS DUE NOVEMBER 6, 2026

The Sudbury Public School Committee and the Lincoln-Sudbury Regional School Committee of Sudbury, Massachusetts, will receive sealed bids for furnishing school bus transportation for public school students for Sudbury Public Schools and Lincoln-Sudbury Regional School District, located in the Town of Sudbury, for a three (3) year period from July 1, 2027 to June 30, 2030. The School Committees reserve the right to extend the contract for up to two (2) additional one-year terms at the prices included in the bid sheet.

 Contract documents, including specifications dated October 15, 2026 covering the required transportation routes, are obtained here. All interested vendors need to download  a Transportation Bid Package and complete this Acknowledgement of your interest so that we can notify you with updated addendums if needed.  Routes for Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School include: Lincoln and Sudbury Routes. Routes for the Sudbury Public Schools are found within the bid package folder.

Each bid should be submitted on the bid form furnished in the specifications and addressed in an envelope clearly labeled "School Bus Transportation Bid" to the Lincoln-Sudbury Regional School District Business Office, 390 Lincoln Road, Sudbury, Massachusetts 01776, and must be received no later than 11:00 a.m.,  November 6, 2026. All bids will be publicly opened in the Superintendent’s Conference Room and read aloud. Bids will be taken under advisement and held for School Committee consideration.

Each bidder must deposit security with their bid in the amount of Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00), either in the form of bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check, issued by a responsible bank or trust company, payable to the Lincoln-Sudbury Regional School District.. All bids submitted will be binding for sixty (60) days subsequent to the bid opening.

The Sudbury Public School Committee and the Lincoln-Sudbury Regional School Committee, reserves the absolute right to reject any or all transportation bids in whole or in part and to waive any informalities in bids received if it be in the public interest to do so. The Sudbury Public School Committee and the Lincoln-Sudbury Regional School Committee herein declares its express purpose to award the contract to the lowest qualified, responsive, and responsible bidder that is able to furnish evidence satisfactory to the Sudbury Public School Committee and the Lincoln-Sudbury Regional School Committee, that it has sufficient ability, experience and capital to execute and complete the work in accordance with the contract. Minimum evaluation criteria are specified in the bid documents.
