The Sudbury Historical Society will host its annual Sudbury Road Race which includes a 5K race and a 1-mile fun run on the morning of Wednesday, November 11, 2026 (Veteran's Day). We could use several volunteers to help ensure a successful event. Please take a look at the following volunteer opportunities and sign up today! Gather friends too - it's a fun morning. 

Both races start and finish at the Ephraim Curtis Middle School (22 Pratts Mill Road, Sudbury, MA 01776). Check-in and bib pick-up begins at 9:00AM. The fun run starts at 10:00AM and the 5K at 10:30AM.

This event is an annual fundraiser for the Sudbury Historical Society (SHS) and its Sudbury History Center and Museum which opened a museum at the Loring Parsonage in 2021. The project revitalized an historic town asset, allowed the SHS to preserve and exhibit its important collections, accommodated a growing membership of supporters, and provided a fully accessible resource for all visitors. This fundraiser allows the SHS to continue its operations and provide more opportunities for the community to learn and get involved with history!
