2019 Atkinson Scholarship Applications

2019 Atkinson Scholarship Applications Available
Award is based on a Combination of Need and Merit
Application Deadline: February 1, 2019

The Sudbury Foundation’s Atkinson Scholarship Program offers 15 qualified high school seniors up to $5,000 a year in financial assistance, with an option to reapply each year of their undergraduate academic career.

The scholarships are designed to recognize and assist local students with financial need, academic promise and the capacity to make a meaningful contribution to society.

The application form may be downloaded from the Foundation’s website at www.sudburyfoundation.org. Forms are also available in the L-S Guidance Offices.

To be eligible for an Atkinson Scholarship, an applicant must be a high school senior planning to attend an accredited two or four-year college, university, nursing school or approved vocational/professional development program. In addition, the applicant must be either:

  • Enrolled at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School; OR
  • A Sudbury resident or the dependent of a Sudbury resident; OR
  • A dependent of a full-time Town of Sudbury employee or full-time L-S employee.

The deadline for applications is February 1, 2019. Awards will be announced in early April 2019. (The Atkinson Scholarship Program is not related to the Lincoln-Sudbury Scholarship Fund. A separate application is required.)
