Lincoln's K-8's Wed. Scholars Program needs Vols. for Fall
Task: Volunteers needed for Lincoln K-8's Wednesday Scholars program. This is an enrichment program for Lincoln's K-8 students each Wednesday after school. Students will engage in a variety of interactive 2-3 week sessions with community educators (e.g. DeCordova art educators, documentary film-makers, engineers, etc.). The program is run by Lincoln's METCO Coordinating Committee, and a big part of the goal is to create more space for Lincoln and Boston resident students to develop relationships while they engage in exciting content. The role of LS volunteers would be primarily to support the engagement of younger students in the activities. Ideally volunteers would be able to contribute to more than one Wednesday session.
When: Every Wednesday, 1:30-4 PM (OK to arrive between 1 &2), starting Oct 2.
