The Explore program compliments our SMILE (Summer Math Intervention and Literacy Engagement) program. The goal of the Explore program is to provide enriching experiences with a focus on Social Emotional Learning for elementary aged students.

Students in the program have experiences in Art, Science, Music, and Physical Education. Each experience has a creative and Social Emotional Lens.

Where: Peter Noyes Elementary School

When: July 10-August 4 (M-F).
Volunteers could sign up for one day or multiple days.

Time: Volunteers could come for a morning session 8:30-11:30 or afternoon session 12-3pm.

Please reply by June 15th, if possible, for planning purposes.

Expectations: Volunteers will be expected to take direction from a lead counselor or activity leader while working with a small group of students. They will not ever be expected to be alone with kids. There will always be another staff member with them at all times. They need to be able to model good behavior and interactions. The Explore program activities are: Art, Science, Music, and Physical Education
