9th graders:
First Adventure - 9th grade Orientation: August 30th, 8:25am - 3:10pm
Teacher leaders: Rachel Cooke, Mike Guanci & Melissa Gray
Schedule:
- 9th graders should report to the Athletic Fields at 8:25 a.m.
- 8:30 - 12:10 Morning Session: Orientation activities (Much of the morning session will take place outdoors)
- 12:10 - 12:50 Lunch (Cafeteria services available)
- 12:55 - 3:10 Classes will meet for 15 minutes each
- Buses depart by 3:25
Bring to First Adventure:
- a laptop or Chromebook. If you have requested a loaner (form at this link), you can pick it up that morning. Please make sure the device is charged.
- Water (especially since it may be hot that day) and sunscreen.
- Snacks you may need before lunch.
- A backpack to carry around your material.
- A writing utensil.
New students in grades 10-12:
Orientation for Students New to L-S in Grades 10-12 (held indoors):
August 30th, 10am - 12pm - Report to the Main Office. Please bring a laptop or Chromebook. If you have requested a loaner (form at this link), you can pick it up that morning. Please make sure the device is charged.

Parents & guardians of 9th graders and new students will receive login credentials to the Aspen Family Portal in August. Aspen is our Student Information System. Students’ 2022-2023 schedules, ID numbers, house assignments and counselor assignments will be provided via the Aspen Family Portal on approximately August 18.
Incoming students will receive Aspen Student Portal and LS Google account credentials on 8/30/22.
If your child will not be attending L-S next year, please complete the withdrawal form at this link.
