Bi-annual Presentation of the MetroWest Adolescent Health Survey Results

LS students are anonymously surveyed every two years on a range of subjects to gather their personal knowledge and experience with various risky behaviors. The aggregate data is helpful for us as educators and family members to assess LS student knowledge and experience in order to effect modifications to curriculum and supports that help students make healthy choices. The data also helps us to determine how best to target supports for the student groups who may be at greatest risk. The data reveals important information about all of our students and is important for all of us who work closely with any student to be aware of.

Where do LS students feel bullying is taking place at school? How many LS students are NOT smoking e-cigarettes? How many LS students feel that their lives are “very stressful”? How many LS students are making healthy choices with driving and using substances?

These questions and more were addressed at the World Cafe discussion regarding the 2014 MetroWest Adolescent Health Survey that was held on Wednesday, October 28th in the Cafeteria at 7:30 pm. There was an introduction to the survey results and then LS students helped facilitate topic based table discussions.
