Dear LS Students, Families, and Staff,
We are feeling very positive about school opening this year. I hope you each feel you have had a good start to school this week! Please do not hesitate to reach out to your house teams for any support you might need. It has been great to welcome all students back to school.
THANK YOU for your patience as we get used to adjusted bus routes. There are several road closures due to necessary road work repairs and/or other infrastructure utility projects underway. Unfortunately, these projects will continue through much of the fall. We appreciate that there is increased bus ridership this year!
I am also writing to announce a vaccination clinic scheduled for Tuesday, October 4 for LS Students and Staff only. This free clinic is offered through the DESE and DPH. The clinic will be held in the LS Auditorium between 8 am and 1 pm. You must register before you can receive a vaccination.
We have been allotted 100 doses. If all slots are taken ahead of time we are able to ask for additional slots. Please do not wait to enroll if you are sure you would like to receive a vaccination so we can be sure to accommodate as many people as possible. While you can register as late as the day of the clinic I do not recommend doing so if you want to be sure to receive a vaccination on that date.
All vaccine types will be available including Novavax (developed to be effective for Omicron). Additional information about the vaccines is available at the registration link below. The registration link also includes the required consent forms.

A reminder to our grade 9 parents/guardians that we will be holding an orientation for you this Tuesday evening starting at 7 pm in the LS auditorium. The house teams and I look forward to greeting you!!
