Welcome Back 4/26

Welcome Back 4/26

Dear LS Students,

We are very EXCITED to be seeing you back in school tomorrow and to better weather (I hope!) this week. I'll be sending out updates about MCAS and contact tracing later this week. For the first days back allow yourselves, whether you will be in person or remote, some time to adjust to this next shift to our learning model this year. Safety protocols are essentially the same but school will look and feel different as we add lunch blocks for everyone and incorporate supervised study halls. A huge thank you to all of our planning teams, administrators, and staff who have taken the lead on working out the logistics for this next change. We've tried to anticipate every thing that could come to mind but I am sure some tweaking will be required! Don't hesitate to let us know if you have any questions! We've been impressed by the astounding flexibility and resiliency you have demonstrated these last months, and now for one more change! Bravo to you!

I hope you all had a good week off from school! I was especially glad to have been on break to be better able to absorb last week's events that happened locally, nationally and around the world. If there is only one thing we can surely do it is to continue to extend ourselves to ensure all members of our community feel that they belong, are included, and are fully appreciated. If we all look out for one another then we'll all be looked after.

See you very soon -- either in person or on our screens!

Sincerely,

Ms. Wong
