Dear LS Students, Families, and Staff,
Yesterday’s PCR pool test results have returned 3 positive pools, one still waiting, one invalid, and one inconclusive. If you have not received an email indicating that your sample was in one of these pools you can assume your sample tested negatively. Here is a link for our most recent Link to COVID dashboard
It is very good news that the number of weekly reported cases for LS has decreased since the end of December! It also remains true that students and staff continue to be personally impacted by the occurrence of positive cases among themselves and/or within their households. I thank you for your diligent participation in our safety protocols, especially through the winter months, to help ensure all of us are missing as little of school as possible.
Here is a reminder that free home antigen test kits are available for all students and staff. The only requirement is to submit an ‘opt in form’. Kits for staff have arrived and will be placed in individual mailbox slots in the main office. Kits for students are expected to be available NEXT week. When the kits arrive student kits will be available for pick through the house offices. Once you opt in you will be able to receive a test kit every other week. Each kit contains two tests. The state intends for this option to be available through mostof April. More information is attached.
