COVID update 12/9/21
Posted on 12/10/2021

Dear LS Students, Families, and Staff,

Two pool results are delayed.  You will have received an email from me if your sample was a part of the delayed pools.  All other results have been received as negative.

Thank you for participating in the survey L-S COVID 19 Vaccine Clinic Survey to indicate your interest for LS to be a vaccination site.  Please submit your responses by noon Friday, December 10.

Since my update of 12/7/21 we have three new positive cases to report (two students, one staff) plus one positive (staff) case I missed reporting from November for a total of 19 this school year.  You may note a trend upward since the Thanksgiving Break.

LS Vaccination Status:    Students:  1384/1512  = 91.53%        Staff:   233/234   = 99.57%

Mask wearing is currently required for all indoor public spaces in the Town of Sudbury.  I do not anticipate a change in the current in school mask requirement before January. MIAA has announced that mask wearing is required for winter indoor athletics.

Thank you for all you are doing to take care of your own health as well as being mindful of the health of others.

Sincerely,

Bella Wong
