The Lincoln Sudbury Varsity Sailing Team practices and races in our fleet of Collegiate 420s. Our home is Cochituate state park in Natick. We race on Lake Cochituate and throughout New England. In 2007 the sailing team travelled to a number of schools including Manchester-by-the-Sea, and George Stevens Academy in Castine, ME. The team practices or races four days a week and some weekends. Tryouts for the 2008 team begin in March. For more information, contact Mark Sobkowicz. Our 2007 season was the best ever for LS Sailing! We qualified for the O'Day NE Fleet Racing Championship, and won the 'B' Division fleet racing series of the Massachusetts Bay League. |
