Creative Computing

Creative Computing is a course for students who would like to learn how to use the computer to improve their own productivity.  After taking Creative Computing, you’ll be the expert when it comes to making spreadsheets and graphs, presentations, and movies for your classes.   Creative Computing fulfills the Computer Technology requirement.

From the program of studies:

(777) CREATIVE COMPUTING Semester course – 2 credits This course explores the use of computers to create, investigate and communicate. Students will

create multimedia projects including slideshows, movies and web pages. Project work in different academic disciplines will incorporate research on the Internet, electronic databases, advanced word processing skills and the use of spreadsheets. Students will become comfortable experimenting with new software and will acquire the ability to transfer computer skills learned in the course to other learning environments. (This course meets the Computer Technology requirement.) 5x/2wk
