"It's no use going to school unless the library is your
final destination."
-Ray Bradbury
The Collection
The L-S Library contains approximately 29,000 volumes, 69 periodicals, 2 daily and 2 weekly newspapers. The library also maintains the school archives which contains bound copies of school newspapers, literary magazines, photographs, and numerous records which detail the school's history.
Paul Mitchell taught Russian history at Lincoln-Sudbury from 1957 to 1979 and, upon his retirement, donated his collection of Russian books to the LSRHS Library. This special collection is maintained by the library and "RUSS" precedes the call number on books in this section.
Three terminals known as the "OPAC " (online public access catalog) stations are located by the library entrance. The catalog is available on the Internet via the Web OPAC link on the library home page.
