The Wellness Department would like to improve communication with our various constituants (parents, staff, administration, school committee and other schools).

The goal of improving communication will focus on educating these parties on the Wellness Philosophy, providing updates on curricula, as well as soliciting feedback on how to better serve our students.

Modalities used to facilitate this goal:


• Updating our Website Completed July 2010
• Presenting at MAPHERD Conference Completed November 2010
• Wellness Dept. Open house for Staff Completed May 2010
• Updates in the LSPO Ongoing 4x a year
• Connections/Communications with speciality programs (Quarterly reviews)
• Ongoing: Met with Counseling Dept., Excel, Health Office, and the Central Program
• Intradepartmental communication and planning
• Weekly Departmental Meetings, Professional Development Training
