L-S Flute Choir

Flute Choir at the Nov. 2005 Small Ensemble Concert

The Flute Choir is one of the premier chamber ensembles at L-S and was formed in 2002. It's membership is comprised of flautists who are involved in the L-S music program's major music ensembles: Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Orchestra, and Choir. Flute Choir students gain academic credit, have input into repertoire selection, and ultimately may one day be a student leader for the group.

The group rehearses once a week and peforms at the Instrumental Concerts throughout the school year. If you are interested in joining flute choir contact Mr. Grandprey.

The Flute Choir has performed at numerous events at L-S and in the community including, Back to School Night 2007-2011, Hosmer House Holiday Open House 2010, Harmony for Hospice 2009, S.E.R.F. Not Just Desserts Event 2006, Bemis Hall Chamber Ensemble Concert 2005, and the Building Dedication Ceremony for the new L-S in 2004.
