With more than 200 students involved in our performing ensembles and non-performance courses, the music department is a place where you will develop lasting friendships and learn skills that will enrich your life for many years after high school graduation. Participating in a music ensemble will be one of the most rewarding and memorable experiences of your high school career. The overall goal of the music department is to work toward musical excellence; along the way our students learn about the pride of accomplishment, leadership, teamwork, responsibility, and school spirit. We offer a wide range of ensembles and courses for both beginners and more advanced students. If you are a string or wind player, a percussionist, a vocalist, or a 'garage band' musician, there is a place for you here!
