After deciding on a topic to research, you will:
- Look into the topic by visiting several sites, exploring by trying out the tools and/or applications available, reading descriptions of the topic, and viewing examples of the topic.
- Write a general description of the concept/topic, with enough detail so that even those of us who have never heard of your topic will understand what it is and how it is used (3 to 5 paragraphs).
- List the Pros and Cons to using the tool you have explored -- including both information about the general topic/tool and about specific instances of the tool that you explored/viewed.
- Create a list of links to resources where you got your information and where others in class could get more information about your topic.
- Provide a list of examples of the concept/topic and links to the sites where these examples can be found (this may overlap with your list of links above -- don't worry, better to have too much info than not enough.
Make sure there is a link from the wiki's main page to the page or pages that you create to provide the class with the information you have found. |
