Final Project

Your final project for Dynamic Web Technologies will be a web-based project that provides a resource to the local community -- whether that is Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School, the local towns, or an organization in the local area. You will use the skills and concepts you've learned in this class to complete the project.

The What:

Your project could consist of a multi-page website, a wiki you start, a podcast series you develop. It could include a blog, audio or video. It could incorporate aspects of social networking or could use social bookmarking as a resource. And more! (some of the more will be based on the work we do the rest of the semester) You could create the web pages using HTML, Dreamweaver, or iWeb.

The What For:

There is already far too much stuff on the web, much of it fairly useless, to create more just to take up space. Let's create projects that are going to be of some use to someone. Create a home for resources that other people can add to, take from, comment about. Create a guide tailored to the audience here at LSRHS. Create something that will help, entertain, or inform someone. Preferably all three.

A quick brainstorm of possibilities:

You should spend some time deciding what to work on, so that it is a project that:

You should have a written plan for your project. This plan can be created in webspiration or you can simply outline the pages and content on a web page. This plan should be linked from your home page.
