Creating a Documentary

This is a major project that will have several parts. You will make a documentary about some thing here at LS. It could be a department, a place, a group of people, etc. It could be a made up thing, like a club that does not exist, but it should be in documentary style.

You should come up with three ideas for your topic, and we will narrow them down before you pick one.

Your movie will contain the following:

In the planning stage, you will use MyWebSpiration to make a timeline for your movie. Make it as detailed as possible, with at least 10 segments. Of course, as you make the documentary, some things may change. But when you take a camera to shoot video, you should be ready, and you should know what shots or interviews you want to get.

Plan to do all video shooting during class time. This may limit your choice of subject.

You may work alone or with one other person. Assume you may have to wait for video camera some times.

"I believe that we are solely responsible for our choices,
and we have to accept the consequences of every deed,
word, and thought throughout our lifetime.
