L-S WEB PUBLISHING CLASS EXPECTATIONS

Course Expectations: In this course you will learn to create and maintain a web site. We will evaluate other websites in order to gain insight regarding design and content. The course will be broken up into units, each a week or two long. In each unit we will learn some new material, and incorporate it into a web page of your own creation.

Students are expected to arrive to class on time. When a student has been late for 3 times they will serve a detention with Ms. Errico. Your progress in class will be monitored through assignments, quizzes and projects. Your grade on each assignment will be based on the status of the file at the end of the school day on the date that it is due.

As you learn new material in class, you are encouraged to return to these previous assignments, apply your new understandings, and continuously improve each web page. The status of your personal website at the end of each quarter will represent a significant portion of your course grade.

Learning Time: The class meets on an academic model
Ms. Errico's office is adjacent to the Computer Lab(B339).
