Do this assignment first - Tips for Fireworks formatting

All the images you create will be kept in a single folder in your website. Call the folder "images". Each image you create will first be saved into this folder. You will use Fireworks MX. Only after it is saved will you insert the file into your Dreamweaver document.

In this assignment you are going work with different images. Create a new Dreamweaver document titled Images.html in your MySites folder. You should include at least one of each of the following:

• An image of yourself downloaded from the digital camera and manipulated in Fireworks.
• A drawing made using Fireworks and saved as a PNG image.
• A transparent image or text created in Fireworks
• An image you scan into the computer and manipulate in Fireworks.
• Art or buttons from a free website- or using Flash.
• A background image of any sort.
• Text (in a cool font) as an image.
• Make at least one image a link.

Rules of images:

• Keep them small - this makes your page easy to download.
• Reduce the color set of simple line drawings.

Learn how to make an image map. This allows you to make a single image have multiple links - different parts of the image link to different things.
