Locate the folder named “Flash Workfiles.” Inside this folder find the folder named “myname” and drag this to your desktop. Change the name of the folder to reflect your own name (last name first initial) We'll call this your "Webpage folder" Open the folder and change the name of the HTM file to reflect your name. for example: bauerj.htm Put all your thumbnail images (the JPEGs that you made) into the folder named "thumbnails" Put all your SWF files into the folder named "images" Open the HTM file in Dreamweaver. NOTE: DO NOT DRAG ANY IMAGES ONTO THE DREAMWEAVER PAGE! In the source code, find and replace all instances of the text string “myname” and replace it with your name (last-name-first-initial see image below). Go to the Edit menu > Find and Replace... IMPORTANT: Change the Search setting ("text") to "Source Code" Type myname in the Find field Type your last-name-first-initial into the Replace field Click the Replace All button A window opens that shows all the replaced code - close this window On the page, manually change the Full name, semester and block number by highlighting the text and re-typing the correct information. Delete any unused thumbnails by clicking on the thumbnail and pressing the delete key. SAVE (if you haven't already done so) Test your htm file in Safari (or FireFox) Find the htm file in the finder and drag it onto the Safari icon in your dock Click on each thumbnail and make sure the proper SWF files open and play. Open the file named “web_write-up.pages” and follow the directions found there.
