Connecting to the Staff Server

  1. Make sure you are in the Finder - Either:
    1. Click the Finder icon in your dock
      finder OR
    2. Click on the desktop
  2. From the Go Menu, choose Connect to Server... (Apple K)

  3. Type "staff" for Server Address.

    • By clicking the + button, you can add this to your favorites, so that the next time you login you can double click on the favorite instead of typing "staff" again.
    • If you're connecting from outside of the building, type "staff.lsrhs.net"
    • If you want to get to a student account, type "GY" followed by their graduation year. eg. GY10
  4. Enter your username and password

  1. A dialog box opens asking you which volume to mount. Double click on "Home." - If home is grayed out, it usually means that you're already logged in and you can find it on your desktop.

  2. "Home" will appear on your desktop and will open. If it was already there from before, double click on it to open it.
    server
  3. You will find folders for all staff. You can jump to a folder quickly by typing the first few letters of the name of the folder.
