Creating the Webpage
  1. Design a web banner.
  2. Create a background image in Photoshop.
Webpage Checklist
Make sure to check each item, sign the bottom and present it to Mr. Kimura.
  1. ______ Make sure No .FLA files are in the thumbnails or images folder

  2. ______ Make sure all the FILES AND FOLDERS containing "myname" have been changed.

  3. ______ Make sure that after doing the find and replace of the source code (see part 2), all your thumbnails appear on the HTM page: If they do not, one of three things is not correct. Either:

    1. The image is not a JPEG (Remember "save for Web."
    2. The image is not in the thumbnails folder
    3. The image filename is incorrect. (ie. backround_bauerj.jpg as opposed to background_bauerj.jpg - notice the missing "g")

  4. ______ Make sure that you spell checked your descriptions before you copy and pasted your descriptions.

  5. ______ Make sure your Full name, semester and block number is correctly indicated at the top of the webpage.

  6. ______ Make sure you opened the HTM file in Safari and made sure all the thumbnail links opened the correct SWF files and that the banner and backgrounds appear properly. If not see item number 2.

  7. Put the entire folder in Mr. Kimura's drop box and check with him to confirm that it has been turned in.
