A REVIEW OF WHERE WE’RE AT
Your Project 1 file should have at least 2 scenes.
- Expanded Square - Make sure to follow these guidelines:
- Animation begins with a complete square
- Pieces animate flipping out of the square
- Not all pieces move at the same time
- Larger pieces have SUB-PIECES that animate
- The animation ends with a complete square and pauses for 2 seconds before it loops again.
- Abstract Monochrome Animation - Make sure to follow these guidelines:
- There is an abstract background animation that fills the entire stage
- There is a foreground animation built inside of a symbol that uses values (shades) of the opposite hue from the background animation
- Within the foreground animation, more than one value can be seen at one time.
WHAT NOW?
Using what you’ve learned about the controlled use of color, design an introductory scene that includes the animation of your name. Follow these guidelines:
- LIMIT YOUR HUES TO THREE
- Have your animation pause on your name, so that the viewer is easily able to read it.
- This animation should be worthy of 2 class sessions
