  Project 1:
Our goal in this project was to expand on the skills we learned in Assignment 3. We made an outline from a picture we drew, blackened the lines, and filled in the picture using paint, filters like clouds and crystallize, and layer style.

  Assignment 5: Light Burst
Our goal in this assignment was to create a word, in my case, my name, that would have light bursting from it in a gradient. I learned how to use wind, blur, distortion, inversion, and how to rotate the document. I also used my skills with gradients and such things.
  Assignment 4: Big Fish Photo
Our goal in this assignment was to increase the current size of the fish to much larger while still keeping the picture realistic. I learned how to use the stamp tool to replicate different parts of the picture to fill in the gaps. I also learned how to use the quick mask mode to select certain things.
  Assignment 3: Cartoon Birds
Our goal in this assignment was to use the outline from the picture Mr. Kimura drew and fill it in while keeping the outline. I learned how to manipulate the RGB channels to make a purely black outline that we could then fill in just like a coloring book. I also learned how to use more filters.
  Assignment 2: Layers Scene
Our goal in this assignment was to use multiple layers to create a scene with a foreground, middle ground, and background. I learned how to use the different locks like the transparency lock, use layer style to make things glow like the windows and the stars in my assignment, and to use different filters to make things like an ocean and some sand.
  Assignment 1: Cube and Sphere
Our goal in this assignment was making the shapes we drew with lines look 3D. I learned how to draw straight lines, which turned out to be very important for the rest of the course, use gradients, and make shading look realistic.
