You will have a "performance quiz," where you will be given instructions on setting up a specific Photoshop file. The instructions will require that you know how to accomplish specific things in Photoshop. Although this is a practice quiz, you will be turning this in as an assignment. Go through each of these steps.
Work with other students helping each each other out if needed, but be sure that you learn how to accomplish all of these steps on your own for the quiz.
- Create a file that is 640 x 480 pixels
- Create a new layer and name the layer brush strokes 1
- Paint some brush strokes on this layer
- Duplicate the brush strokes 1 layer and rename it brush strokes 2
- On the brush strokes 2 layer, select a rectangular portion the brush strokes and make them blue.
- Make the brush strokes 1 layer invisible (don’t delete it)
- Create a new layer and name it blue square
