METCO Staff

METCO Director - Nicole Stewart
The role of the L-S METCO Director is to direct and oversee all aspects of the L-S METCO program and to advocate on behalf of the program. Part of the task of advocacy is to help the institution continue to examine its practices, and work to find ways to help Boston Students reach their full potential.

METCO Tutor/Administrative Assistant - Tanisha Tate
The Assistant’s role is to manage the administrative details of the program, and to support us all in getting out information. Also, Assistant is responsible for all bus issues as well as monitoring Boston Student attendance.

METCO Specialist - Darryl David
The Specialist’s role is to support academic achievement through regular contact with students, to serve as an active liaison between parents and school personnel, students, teachers and parents, to teach the Cultural Identity Group Seminar (CIGS course, to monitor and recommend action regarding the development of all Boston students, and to coordinate the After School Tutorial Program. )

METCO Tutor- Tara Zantow
The tutor is responsible for providing and coordinating all academic support for Boston students.
