PROCEDURE FOR ENROLLING A STUDENT AT
LINCOLN-SUDBURY REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

Residency Policy

Here are some steps to follow in order to make your transition to Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School as easy as possible. Please note that except in unusual circumstances, we require that the parent or guardian be present during the registration process.

STUDENT WILL NEED:

1. Proof of Residency in either Lincoln or Sudbury
2. Copy of Birth Certificate
3. Copy of Immunizations
4. Copy of Grades/Transcript to Date
5. Copy of Individual Educational Plan, if student is currently receiving Special Education Services
6. MCAS Scores (if entering from a Massachusetts public school)
7. Disciplinary Records

SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES:

If a student is not currently residing with his/her birth, adoptive, or step-parent, specific forms of documentation must be provided before enrollment.

If you have the above paperwork, you are now ready to register for school. However, you will need an appointment with a Guidance Counselor to review your child's grades, designate the year of graduation based upon transferable credits and fill out your child's schedule. To make this process move more smoothly, please call Mrs. Anne O'Reilly for an appointment (978) 443-9961, ext. 2386 or (781) 259-9527, ext. 2386. Appointments for incoming/transfer students usually take about one hour. You will receive a Program of Studies at the time of registration. Both parents/guardians and students should review the contents carefully.
