Parking Lot Objectives

 

 

 

 

The Problem

Cars. Cars and traffic. Cars are responsible for emitting tons of CO2 a year, and it would be a worthwhile goal for the LS community to reduce our output. Additionally, traffic is something the club is sure we would rather do without. In order to resolve both problems, we can take cars off of the road.

We cannot build a new traffic lane at LS, so that only leaves one option: Carpooling.

 

Possible Solutions

As far as carpooling goes, we have thought on offering parking spaces closer to the school for cars that carpool. Another option is giving a reduced-price parking pass to carpooling cars.

There are plenty of problems we would need to overcome in order to enforce either of these solutions, but they can work with enough thought and preparation.
