About Us

The LS Environmental club meets every ACA block, at room A416. We focus on issues concerning the environment at LS, and worldwide.

Last year we helped remove the bittersweet invasive plants on the school grounds as it was choking some of the trees. We have also done canoe trips in the past. We work with local organizations to improve our environment. Around Earth Day last year, our club held an environmental forum and green business fair.

Why the Environment?

We are here to defend the Earth when it's in need, when it's being polluted, when it's being neglected. If we work to save the enivronment now, our children and our children's children will thank us. We have to have a healthier environment -- and that starts with us.
