Darkness day occured on October 22nd, 2009. It was the Thursday before the day when we took our 350 picture. We encouraged teachers to turn off the lights in their classrooms, as long as they did not need the lights to teach.

Turning off lights that did not have to be in use reduced LS's carbon footprint, and saved the school money. If LS were to do this more often, the benefits would be great.
