L-S Staff learn Keynote via an on-line course

The first meeting will be face to face where I will teach folks how to log onto Moodle and enter the Keynote moodle site. Teachers will create a practice Keynote project, a Keynote project relevant to their subject matter and finally a lesson which requires students to create a Keynote project.
I taught math at L-S from 1981 - 1996, all levels and all ages of students. I have been involved in teaching with computers from 1990 to present. In November 1996, I became the Educational Technology Coordinator and Integration Technology Specialist in addition to teaching computer courses. On-line teaching is a new frontier for me. The beauty of offering this course at L-S to L-S teachers is that folks can see me in person if they are having problems.
•Teachers who have participated in the 2 day summer workshops on Keynote I have offered in the past are NOT eligible to take this course.
•In order to be eligible for one (1) L-S credit, teachers must complete all assignments when they are due!!!! For teachers who feel they can not keep up with the timeline of assignments, but complete them at their own pace will be eligible for Professional Development Points.
