These academic expectations are supported and enhanced by the proper use of computer technology as a necessary tool in today's society. The constant change in technology requires both students and staff to become facile and independent learners. Providing opportunities in the classroom will enable the student to gain more confidence when approaching new and different software. The world of education has to help students go beyond downloading their favorite song and use the computer in a safe, creative, productive and meaningful manner.
