Student Account Files Screen ShotStudent Accounts

You've seen how to navigate to a student's files. Each student has 1 GB (approx 1000 MB) to store their files. Occasionally, a student will be unable to save documents to their account or they will have some other trouble with their account. Sometimes this is due to a lack of storage space in their account. To determine how much space is available have the student click the Go menu and scrol to Home. Look on the bottom of the window that appears (see left). Anything less than 5 MB is in the danger zone. Some images and videos are quite large.

Dealing with space issues

Have the student drag iTunes music or large items to the trash. Make sure to empty the trash!
