The Computer Network and How You Log On

Network Account

Anytime a computer in a classroom, lab, or office is turned on, it will show a login screen. You can log on to your account from any computer in the building. When you log onto a computer with your account name and password, you immediately have access to your server account with a variety of folders. All of your files will be saved into this network account and not on an individual computer.

Keep all important documents in your Documents folder or on your Desktop. It is important to keep the Public Folder (and dropbox folder within that) as is. This is how students and staff can give you copies of documents.
